Menopause Coach & Certified Nutritionist
Hi, I'm Vivienne
I am a Certified Nutritionist and Menopause Coaching Specialist (CSMC), with certifications in culinary arts and recipe development.

Before specialising in menopause coaching, I spent 20 years in the NHS working as a registered nurse, midwife, and public health nurse, with a strong focus on women’s health and hormonal transitions.

My interest in menopause nutrition developed through my own perimenopause journey, where I searched for evidence-based, natural ways to manage symptoms. Today, I combine current research with practical meal planning strategies that fit real life.

My culinary training allows me to create simple, nourishing recipes designed for midlife, focusing on protein intake, fibre, and symptom support. My approach is centred on small, sustainable changes that are realistic and maintainable.

I work collaboratively with healthcare professionals when appropriate and am a member of The Canadian Menopause Society, keeping up to date with the latest menopause research.
My Approach to Coaching
I believe menopause support should be practical, personalised, and built to last.

My coaching is rooted in small, realistic changes that work with your body, not against it. I don’t use rigid meal plans or one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, I help you create food habits that feel doable and that you can stick with over time.

I take a food-first, evidence-based approach that fits into real life. We start from where you are, and I support you in a way that makes sense for your day-to-day.

I also place strong emphasis on education and self-trust, so you not only understand what to do, but why it helps. That way, you leave feeling confident in your choices, even after our work together ends.
Why I Created 40+ Kitchen

I created the 40+ Kitchen as a supportive space for women in midlife who want practical help with food, cravings, energy, and feeling better in their bodies, without the commitment of a full coaching programme.

Inside, you’ll find a growing library of high-protein, high-fibre recipes that support your hormones and help keep you full and satisfied.
You’ll also get straightforward nutrition guides and tips that make sense for this stage of life.

At the heart of it all is a kind, down-to-earth community where you can ask questions, share what’s working, and feel supported every step of the way.
